ashlyn was the co-creator, co-writer and producer of Centered (web series) which debuted in 2018 and went on to represent the Chicago comedy community / LGBTQ+ community at festivals such as Clexacon, Great Lakes International Film Fest, Austin Indie Fest, Festigious Los Angeles, Lift Off Global and NYC Mental Health Film Festival

her second experiment in filmmaking came in the form writing and directing her first dramatic short film self care a short film highlighting mental health and loosely based on the character of Masha from Chekhov’s The Seagull

as the height of the pandemic reared it’s head, ashlyn rounded out her year creating a fast and loose, somewhat rag tag follow up comedic short film entitled Big Speech
